The boys have been getting together for several months now, enjoying all things male. Ask Chuck to tell you about being THE moving target for Paintball. Ask Brad if he likes simple or compound bows better for shooting. Ask Brian about the frog he almost brought home. What fun!

Update: The boys have begun a group called Sons of Thunder (thanks, JD) with some other dads and boys. They have plenty of camping and fishing up their sleeves, with a little spiritual teaching thrown in. Dad’s handling it all; I’ll leave it to him to tell you more.

My boys have been watching the fun their older sister and me having with our Sonflower Sisters mother-daughter discipleship group, and are itching to start something similar with their daddy and their friends and their daddies.
This summer I hope to write the first curriculum. Hmm…now to think of a manly name for the father-son discipleship group. Any ideas?

What about Sons of Thunder like John and James? I think the verse is Mark 3:17.

maybe “Nuts & Bolts,” as a title for some sort of pieces for living or instructions from dads to sons.
