Cathedral of Mary Our Queen

To wrap up our Cathedrals and Church Architecture KONOS unit, we visited Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore.

Out front was a beautiful flowering tree. Just look at these blooms!

The kids were all over it…literally.

I’d venture to say the tree was their favorite part of the visit.

The cathdedral was amazing from the outside.

The Baptistry

And it was incredible from the first peek inside.

Breanna surprisingly began yodeling. I didn’t know she could yodel.

Brian found the Holy Water. He can divine water (particularly mud) anywhere.

My favorite part was the stained glass.

I loved the way it reflected off the stone walls.

And how it looked in lots of direct sunlight.

This is a window in the Baptistry (which you saw from the outside above).

We took away the tiniest little memento from where the flagstaff paving was busted.

Good time. Good memories.
