Snowballs of Another Sort

We have a beautiful hydrangea (snowball) bush out front. Did you know that its flower color is determined by the acidity of the soil? My mom’s hydrangeas are a beautiful light blue. This year ours are hues of violet.

The girls have designed their own special arrangements to dry and save. (Breanna top, Brooke bottom)

  1. I LOVE hydrangeas. Grew up with white ones, have several plants but they won’t bloom. Sigh. Those are beautiful–never saw purple ones before–we only get blue and white around here.

  2. Beautiful hydrangeas! Mine aren’t blooming yet… and I can’t figure out why!

Looks like you all are having a busy and fun summer! I love the journal pages!

    Kim 🙂

  3. These are so pretty! I Love hydrangeas. They are my favorite plant!
