Call Me Crinkleroot

Today we learned more about the habits of birds. Brooke and Brad envisioned what a happy bird tree might look like.

We salvaged a milk jug we emptied at lunch to make a feeder to lure these unique birds.

We hung our homemade feeder and the nifty one my mother got us last Christmas.

Then we came back inside to clean up the spilled seed. We realized our carpet is not “dirt” colored, like we used to say, but “birdseed” colored. Thank God for vacuums!
