Blueberries, Boulders and Brooms Bloom

Recently we met up with friends for some fun!

We started out at a local organic blueberry farm

picking blueberries

for some pickin’.

Then we drove to Conowingo Dam to climb on the boulders.

We were surprised to find that just the day before they had opened a new observation platform.

It had the perfect set of steps for a group photo.

Brooke had really hoped to take this rock home to paint, but it seemed a little unethical.  One day we’ll find such a perfect painting rock on public property.

We finished out the day at Broom’s Bloom Dairy, our favorite ice cream place. I was so consumed with eating my yummy Half and Half soup (half Maryland crab, half cream of crab soup) and Cake Batter ice cream cone that I neglected to snap any photos. But here’s one Brooke got of resting her tired tootsies.

It was a fantastic day!
