On the Fifth Day of Christmas…

my true love gave to me–

Five loads of pukey laundry

Four children sleeping on the kitchen floor near the throw-up bowl

Three hours of sleep

Two cranky parents

And one husky who was mad he missed his walk and pooped on all the Christmas toys.

Good thing Jesus is our reason for celebration–and He’s eternally good!

  1. Oh, it sounds like you had a very difficult Christmas. Hope your family starts feeling better soon – back to your normal energetic and playful selves (is that a word??) Merriest to you all!

  2. Those stomach flues are the worst. Hope you are over it by now! Merry Christmas! I’m so encouraged by you sharing your faith!

  3. Sweet blog… I’ll be coming back.. šŸ™‚

  4. oh no! Did your dog really do that? =(

  5. Oh, I’m sorry you were ill for Christmas — we had that experience a few years ago. The boys woke up at 5 a.m. Christmas morning to puke, and felt so bad all day they didn’t even care about opening their presents! Let me tell you, it puts all Christmases afterwards in perspective! LOL. “At least we don’t have the flu this year!”

I’m glad my post spoke to you — and that you were able to interpret that message of waiting! šŸ™‚ Sounds like you’ve got a fun semester planned now!
